The National Council of Commercial Plant Breeders (NCCPB) has established
an Award for scientists who have made significant contributions to plant
science through basic, applied, or developmental research in genetics
and plant breeding during their careers in the private sector. It is administered
through the Crop Science Society of America (CSSA).
The Award consists of a certificate, plaque and $1,500 honorarium and
is presented at the CSSA Annual Meeting.
